Hi folks,
I know that you can use Poser characters in DAZ Studio, but is there any way that the morphs (e.g. phonemes) and controls (e.g. open/close hands) be imported along with them? The same thing would apply when using the Michael character. Pretty new to this stuff and haven't found a way of bring the morphs and controls along with the characters.
Also, if a Poser character has hair applied to it in the Hair room, will the hair import along with the character as well?
Thanks in advance...
Al

Hair Room hair won't import.
The Poser hand-grasp controls are created by Poser, not the figure, so they won't come across (unless the figure has its own versions built in) - but you can multi-select bones to, in some cases, achieve a simlar effect. The systems used to add morphs to figures like Michael will work in DS - anything that injects a pmd file won't, however.
Thanks for the quick reply Richard. Not exactly the answer I was hoping for, but at least I know now.
I do my modeling and animation work in Cinema 4D and Daz Studio has a great .FBX exporter which exports all the morphs and stuff like that which imports beautifully into C4D. I also have Poser 7 and have a character that I want to use in C4D. Was hoping to use Daz Studio as an intermediate step to bring it into C4D. Might have to give InterPoser a go and see how that works with Poser and C4D. There is a Poser character that I have and want to use it in C4D. Guess I could also try copying the Poser character in Daz Studio using a Genesis 2 base character.
