Hey everyone!
I have a two questions
1) I bought this kit Wet and Tanned Skins for Genesis 8.1 Females | Daz 3D and I use it a lot! But when I use it it's change the skin tone if you will see below I love the left one and it goes to the right one , I try to recolor it but its also change the freckles and I just want to use the wet option not change the skin tone at all.
2) About the fingers have some problem with the thumb that goes in , any one maybe know how to fix it? because if I make fist or when she try grab something it looks very strange haha
Thanks! :)

1) It seems that the material preset from that product changed Translucency and SSS related properties on skin surfaces. You may pre-save a material preset of Translucency and SSS related slots, then apply it after you load a preset from that Wet product...
2) Select sub-node - Right Thumb 3 in Viewport or Scene pane, check Z Rotate property with Show Hidden Property turned on... see if there's anything wrong in its Parameter Setting, like Use Limit was turned off and there's a value on it...
About the first one I will check it out and I also made something that like this +- , I hope I can make it with what you said to make it the same :)
About the second one you mean this options? If yes I have eveything unhide there , I get what you mean right?
Thank you!
Yup, show hidden properties first... then check "Z Roate". If it has a value, it's not correct...
But for some reason I don't have this option :
Oh...? No way... You ticked Show Hidden Properties but still could not see it?
Ohhh sorry sorry it's working! Thank you so much!!!
About the wet I keep trying how to not damage the skin , Wish you could make the wet skin on this one but you must put layer on the model. It looks good anyway so maybe I will stick to that or maybe buy some other wet kit that not have to change the skin tone :)
I don't have that product... but actually there're quite a few types of "wet" in the real world. Sometimes, as per what you need, probably just tweaking Glossy and Top Coat layers may bring you good result... What is more worth from buying a "wet product" is the texture maps that vendors provide in the product, which may bring you the effect of sweaty, oily, or something like that. So it's up to you loh...
Wetness does chnage the skin tone, though. Compensating is going to require other changes, which will be tricky to get right.
Hahaha ok I see , Well I love it with oil a little bit yes , I will try to make it the same +- , Like I said it don't looks bad at all any way but I love her normal skin more , thanks for help! : P
@Richard Haseltine haha yes you right , Well I will try to make it the same as I can then , Thanks!
Just give you an example of Van Helsing G9 with some oily wetness. As long as you set surface properties correctly, the skin tone / SSS etc. won't be affected by wet effect 'cause such a wet layer even in real world mostly brings you reflective glossiness and refraction (more water / sweat drops, etc..). SSS effect from skin is much stronger than a "wet layer".
I have that product too and I really think it's amazing how much power it gives us, especially with the special interface that V3Digitmes gives us to work with.
However, I cannot use it on my Rosie character, who is using Sol for Genesis 3 & 8 Female, due to the special shaders she has.
As it turns out, Sol has maps in the "Glossy Layered Weight" channel of the surfaces, with the slider turned to 0.00 by default. Turning this up slightly makes her look like she's sweating. Turn it all the way to 1.0 and she's sopping wet.
I don't see this in most of my other characters, but check and see if yours has a Glossy Layered Weight channel hooked up.
For mine, I select my character and, in the Surfaces pane I select the "Skin" category to get all of the skin surfaces. Since the maps are already in place, I just use the slider to get the effect I need.
The beginning of this shows a very sweaty look:
Ohhh I see thanks for the information! you help me a lot of times :)
@Dartanbeck your so right! I really like the effects to make the character looks more alive when come to rain and some sport it looks amazing! its a great idea thank you for that :) liked the video a lot!
Awesome! Have Fun with it!!!
