Horror Items?

Hi,

I hope everyone is doing well :)

I'm just looking for a bit of help if that's okay! I am getting really into using Genesis 9 to make renders for horror art references - just generally creepy figures! I'm using humans mostly and not backgrounds, and I'm wondering whether anyone has any recommendations for stuff from the store that could help in this? I've tried my best looking through it myself but I am disabled in a way that it makes it extremely difficult to process/understand what I'm seeing so it's been almost impossible to find much! I'm mainly looking for stuff that's just... creepy rather than any monsters or anything like that

I already have blood smears and the weird demon eye and some demon horns, but I'd love to know if there's things other people love and use that they can recommend :) Price isn't too much of a problem for me, it's just the looking for things that I'm really having a lot of trouble with.

TIA! :)

It depends on what you want to create. If you have some skill with Photoshop or an equivalent, you can get horror backgrounds at sites like Pixabay.com or create your own with AI. Deviney has all kinds of Photoshop brushes (they work in Gimp and other apps) for creating various effects that you can't do in 3D. Some of the best non-human characters are made by RawArt.

This is great advice thank you!

  • You could check out the gallery and look at images tagged with dark fantasy, horror or creepy for instance and see what items they have used. Often you can find the items used at the bottom of the page, or you can leave a message to ask what they used. The comments-section is not perfect which means that it you leave a comment the creator of the image might not notice you have left if for quite a while or not at all, but it is a way to find items you might like.
