Just wondering but...

Not to ruffle the powers that be feathers but, is Daz 3D still creating things for the Poser Program? I have never been able to get my Macs [ any one of them with various OS] to work with Daz Studio therefore I am still using Poser...as well as quite a few I have talked to.
I appreciate the freebies that we get, and although I download some DS items [still hoping that one day my Mac will be nice] I miss there not being anything new for Poser folks too. There are still many of us Poser folks in existence who miss new items. I did grab the ones that are being offered now, so thanks for those..

If I am not mistaken native Poserr items stopped being developed back after Genesis 1 came out since none of the generations after that worked in poser (natively). You can probably get props and environments to import into Poser, but I haven't seen any native files released in years.FYI, pretty sure I have seen that DS works on Macs.
I just wonder what problems you have running DS on a mac? Been running DS on macOS since 2011. Only current issue is that macOS 14 does not play well with DS, but apart from that, no problems. Rendering in Iray is a bit slow due to lack of HW GPU, but compared to high quality 3Delight renders, Iray on CPU is much faster still.
You can get all the way up to G2 to work in Poser, there was some noise about getting G3 into it, but heard it was a really pitta to do, so everyone stopped at G2.
Daz does have a mac version of the program, it should work for you.
If you go to the main store page, and use "Software" as your filter option it says that there are 9051 products for Poser. Whether or not they meet your needs is yours to investigate. There is content from the M4 and V4 days, mostly. But some occasional poser support for some rare products.
For example: This product has a SKU:83934 , and notes it has poser materials and was released in the last year or two.
