If it's a custom character, first try Edit - Figure - Rigging - Adjust Rigging to Shape... and also check if you've used some unique product....
That didnt work unfortunately. I did use a Daz product by Zevo called X-Transfer to transfer a bunch of morphs from Gen 3 to Gen 8 but I feel like I noticed this issue prior to that. I could be wrong and it could be the X-Transfer that is causing this.
Oh, X-Transfer... I've heard from some guys who ever experienced the similar issue. If it's a base figure, there must be no such an issue so this issue must result from a full body morph or partial body morph. I'm afraid you have to carefully check what you've dialed on the figure...
UPDATE: I just deleted everything and reinstalled, reimported meta data and we are back to normal. Thank you for all the suggestions.
Mine did this with the face and neck of one of my figures. I had updated, worked on the character, then saved it. In my next session, I had deformity issues. I rolled back the update, but that didn't fix it. It was also lagging a lot when I tried to pose the character, and a ton of sliders stopped working in that file. I unfortunately lost the character, having deleted the scene because I thought it was corrupted, as none of the other characters were affected [because I hadn't worked on them between the update and the rollback]. However, new sessions had the same results. Hopefully this doesn't happen to you again. When it happened to me, Crosswind figured out it was bad cache. I did as advised and cleared the cache. No more tears.
