If it's a custom character, first try Edit - Figure - Rigging - Adjust Rigging to Shape... and also check if you've used some unique product....

That didnt work unfortunately. I did use a Daz product by Zevo called X-Transfer to transfer a bunch of morphs from Gen 3 to Gen 8 but I feel like I noticed this issue prior to that. I could be wrong and it could be the X-Transfer that is causing this.

Oh, X-Transfer... I've heard from some guys who ever experienced the similar issue. If it's a base figure, there must be no such an issue so this issue must result from a full body morph or partial body morph. I'm afraid you have to carefully check what you've dialed on the figure...

  • UPDATE: I just deleted everything and reinstalled, reimported meta data and we are back to normal. Thank you for all the suggestions.

  • Mine did this with the face and neck of one of my figures.  I had updated, worked on the character, then saved it.  In my next session, I had deformity issues.  I rolled back the update, but that didn't fix it.  It was also lagging a lot when I tried to pose the character, and a ton of sliders stopped working in that file.  I unfortunately lost the character, having deleted the scene because I thought it was corrupted, as none of the other characters were affected [because I hadn't worked on them between the update and the rollback].  However, new sessions had the same results.  Hopefully this doesn't happen to you again.  When it happened to me, Crosswind figured out it was bad cache.  I did as advised and cleared the cache.  No more tears.
