Is it possible to block/mute a contributor to the forums?

    I honestly think things died when they replaced the forum software that had the NSFW flags that was buggy with the one previous to this one

    I don't even do NSFW stuff IMO but this forum is also very strict on what you can say as well, labling much of my Aussie lingo as offensive

    I understand some believe minors should not be exposed to nudity or cuss words but filtering took care of that by making flagged threads inaccessable to those under 18

    another 3D forum has such flags though the lack of activity there kind of negates my theory cheeky

  • The UK seems to be a fair bit more sweary than the US, and on the two occasions I've had the priveledge to go to Australia, it seems more sweary still, but much more upfront about it. Particularly in the Australian Parliament.

    It's the way of things, and is part of the character of the place.

    Probably because the bad words sound better with those accents.
