What is the function of Content Database Base on DAZ Install Manager?

    It is where the path of cms cluster database is defined. With this setting, metadata of the products can be read from or written to the database.

    If I changed the location path of the databse will it be a problem for the existings data?

    If you backup the existing cluster and restore or copy/paste it to a new location, and change the path to the new location accordingly, you won't lose anything. If you change the path to a fresh new cluster locaton, all existing metadata will be gone for sure.

    Changing the location is not meant to copy the existing database across - one of its purposes is to alow indendent conntet sets.

    The best practice should be setting up multiple Daz Library folders as needed and set them with multi Content Sets for switching in Content Directory Manager.. rather than using multiple cluster database folders to "switch". And how can one, esp. an ordinary user who knows less about postgreSQL, create a separate cluster without copy / paste...

    Still suggest use this setting for initial setup and migration purpose...
