What's going on with the Holiday Rewards, I'm not getting the card punches

Is this happening to anyone else or was the punch system for a limited time, then you only got the last discount? In the past week and a half I have made qualifying purchases daily except on Dec. 4th. I was at 25% off because I missed a day. I made qualifying purchases on the 5th and the 6th, but did not get another punch for either of those purchases.

    It's because only last three days of purchases count. You didn't make a purchase on the 4th, you did on the 5th and 6th which means you still have 25%. If you buy something today, you'll be back to 35% tomorrow.

    The basic way to look at it is: in the last three days, how many days did you make purchases at? 2. Which means 2 punches.

    I might be mistaken, but I think the way itw orks is that it looks at the last three days (4, 5, 6th) and however many days you had purchases that qualify, you get a punch. so based on what you said, two punches might be correct? My purchases have been infrequent so I can't confirm, I've been at one or no punches most days. I think you got your new punch, but the "missed" one has still been in the range.

    In the past 3 days I have made purchases on 2 of the days. And did not get a card punch. And when this first started I recieved a punch the day after I made a purchase. So I thought that meant that up to 3 purchases, you get a punch. And if you miss a purchase in 3 days, you lose a punch. Is that wrong? It doesn't say get a punch after 3 days of purchases.

    If you make a purchase over $1 today, tomorrow (Daztime) you get one punch
    If you make a purchase over $1 also tomorrow (day 2), the next day you get another punch
    If you make a purchese over $1 also the third day, on the fourth day you get another punch = 3 punches.

    The punches expire after 3 days, so only purchases made during the last 3 days count.

    Current rule is that you're supposed to get a punch for each day you've made a qualifying purchase in the 3 previous days (not counting today, making a purchase today gives you a punch tomorrow).

    Both of you said make a purchase today, get a punch tomorrow. I've done that, twice. Yesterday, and the day before. And did not get another punch.

    So, when did you make the purchases?

    It's still Thursday at Daz, punches earned on Thursday will be available in an hour when it's Friday at Daz.

    Is it possible that you are seeing an old punch drop off as the new one is applied? It would look like nothing has changed.

    You receive a punch for each day you've made a purchase over $1 in the past three days (as in, yesterday and the 2 days before). Purchases older than 3 days don't count anymore.

    If you have 2 punches today, it means you've made 2 purchases during the past 3 days.

    Case 1 : those purchases were made yesterday and the day before.

    • If you make another qualifying purchase today, tomorow you'll have 3 punches as there will be qualifying purchases on all 3 days before tomorow.
    • If you don't make a qualifying purchase today, you'll still have 2 punches tomorow thanks to those purchases from the past 2 days.

    Case 2 : one of the qualifying purchases was 3 days ago. That purchase won't count anymore tomorow.

    • If you make another qualifying purchase today, tomorow you'll have 2 punches (one from today's purchase and one from the purchase you've made in the 2 days before today).
    • If you don't make a qualifying purchase today, tomorow you'll only have one punch left (from the purchase you've made in the past 2 days).

    The punch system hasn't worked correctly since they started it, there are numerous post in the forums of people losing too many punches or not getting them. Sales here often have problems working the way they are explained in the adverts.

    As a Daz+ member:

    I purchased on 11-30, 12-01, 12-02 and had 35% on 12-03.

    I missed a purchase on 12-03 and lost a punch, going down to 25%.

    I made a purchase on 12-04, stayed at 25%.

    Missed a purchase on 12-05, went to 15%.

    I purchased on 12-06 and my discount rose to 25%.

    Purchase on 12-07, kept me at 25%.

    next purchase on 12-08 (3rd day) will take me to 35% for 12-09.

    Hopefully I don’t forget again.

     

    And that said, please report these things in the sales thread as it becomes difficult to monitor duplicate topics.

    The punches seem to have been working correctly since they simplified the system to just be one per day, out of the last three, with a purchase over $1. It was having issues before that.
