Hair poses for laying down G9

Okay guys...I am trying to figure out how to get my G9 figure's hair to lay around her head on the floor. I am using this hair https://www.daz3d.com/elathlaen-hair-for-genesis-9. And I would love to achieve this hair (see attached). Is this even possible? I tried posing it but the hair only bends at the middle and not at the roots. Any help would be apreciated!

That hair is really straight for getting that effect, but I use Mesh Grabber (Bundle, as it takes all of the options to get the job done). There's also a Mac version if you're using that.

I take my time and use the "Save" button as my friend. It creates a morph of the changes we've made up to that point that can be dialed up or down - even beyond 0 and 100 by removing limits.

Push a little here, rotate some, change the size of the influence, etc.,

Fun and Effective! That bundle has been worth every penny from day one!

Oh I didn't even think of Mesh Graber! Let me try that, I do use it a lot on clothes, so it def should work on hair

Me too ~~ dForce + Mesh Grabber would be always a nice combo. yes But pls be noted that Mesh Grabber won't work on strand-based hair... If it's a SBH, may use a dFormer instead.

Using dforce hair would be a better and faster soultion, unfortunately there are not that many full dforce optioins for G9 yet

The promo image you posted uses kit hair which is fully dynamic with dforce https://www.daz3d.com/biscuits-kit-hair-with-dforce-for-genesis-8-female

I mean it is dforce but I get what you're saying. I just really love the model I am using and unfortunatelly she is a G9 and when I use G8 hair on her it does not conform to her head.

NP, glad it worked for you. Rememeber though, just because a hair says dforce doesn't mean it is fully dforce and will lay down like this one. most don't unfortunately.

In the future if you want other hair to work on G9, just autofit, parent it, or use the converter https://www.daz3d.com/rssy-hair-converter-from-genesis-8-to-genesis-9
