multi camera rendering

Hi All,

is there a way of rendering 4 cameras is one go? I like to take product shots from all 4 sides. Idealy without rendering every camera seperately, but have them rendering automaticaly one after the other. There is the option of "render type" which can be set to "image series" but again, that is only one camera and does not give me the option which camera to use for which shot.

cheers

if you export four camera shots as four separate RIB files in 3Delight you could batch render in standalone 3Delight but that has potential compatibility issues and core limitation depending on your version of DS and standalone and your CPU respectively.

Make a small animation with 4 frames: Instead of using 4 different cameras, use a single camera, give it a different pose in each frame, then render as image sequence.

  • If you are wanting to render each camera angle simultaneously, the short answer is no.  It wouldn't really save you any time if you could since you would be quadrupling the number of calculations.  However, the really nice thing about creating a scene in Daz (or any 3d app) is that you don't have to worry about environmental factors affecting your lighting like in the real world.

Thanks, that souns like a plan.

@kurzondax. I understand that the rendering time would be per camera but I only would need to start the process once and can walk away instead of having to start it for each camera.

    Thanks all for your contribution.
