Using the geometry tool for hiding parts.

Hello,
I have recently bought the "Simple living room". Problem is that the walls of this room are not selectable and also the in the surfaces tab the walls are one surface. So i am not able to hide walls wich is very uneasy for creating scenes. I know there is a geometry tool and i can use it to select parts. I guess that it is possible to achieve wath i am looking for in DAZ studio, well i just dont know how to proceed.
Hey thank you all.

I'm a beginner but I've been able to start the geometry tool (under "Tools") and this highlights areas of a prop that can be made invisible. Haven't really tried it with walls that I want to temporarily remove. I think the trick with rooms and houses may be that some models have an open side, like in a doll's house say, and this allows easy access and open camera angles... some of these even give you some suggested cameras as presets. Other houses like the one I bought (Home One basic somethingerather if I remember correctly) are more like a fixed box that you can't work with as easily.
Thanks Roman
I am a beginner to. It's a fixed box unfortunatly, there must be a way to asign other materials to the walls and so being able to make them inviseble by setting opacity at zero.

yeah make each wall a separate mat zone with the Geo Editor Tool and then use Opacity (3Delight) or Cutout (Iray) and set it to 0. That will hide the wall you want. When making a new mat zone with the tool will omit any texture that have been assigned so you will need to Copy and Paste the old textures to the new. Simple enough to do in the Surfaces Pane.
