How to walk with those "Boots" (Geta Shoes)

I just wonder how to walk while wearing the geta shoes in this product - https://www.daz3d.com/lotus-dream-attire-for-genesis-9 surprise

    Honestly, probably not that differently from how you'd walk in regular flat-footed geta (or at least no more different than flat shoes to high heels).

    Thanks ! Those are quite normal geta shoes in the video but the pair of shoes in this product are different, even different from high heels...there're 2 pieces of wood supporting heels.  If "her soles" cannot flatly place on the geta, I bet she'll fall down when steps forward... or she has to "slide" forward, haha ~~cheeky

    Yeah, I ever tried the similar ones before. I was a bit clumsy to walk on them but I could move ~~ laugh  And it's better to have those 2 "pegs" closer to the center of sole 'cause it'll be easier to make geta shoes bend while walking, while  I'm afraid the ones in this product will fail to bend ~~

    Maybe the "socks" are solid boots in the heel shape to provide support and there is a magnet to the top wood panel/peg thing so it locks in place while walking? :)

    Edit: not sure what that top "heel" part is called.

    Oh, right, I didn't look at the pics closely enough. I thought the "back board" was supposed to go behind the heel (which was a bit weird but why not), but if the heel is supposed to be on the top of the "back board" it's another problem. I really don't see how that's supposed to work.

    I also note that all the geta images I can find have the strap go between the toes rather than the slide type shown in the Lotus Dream Attire. I'm guessing the differences are due to wanting the high heel posture, but I'm not sure they'd work.

    That's exactly what I noticed. This construction is pure nonsense, also because the foot is only held by the front strap. You can only stand in these 'shoes' if you don't want to risk breaking your ankle. Misogynistic.

    My feet and back are a good part of why I can't do my stone chiseling career anymore. For some crazy reason, that big bock up to the heel looks like fun to try! LOL
