Problem with Zedd. poses for G9

I found my problem, its how [the Zeddicuss] poses are organized, or not organized. The are mixed for G8 and 9 plus mixed with full poses, and partial poses. I didn;t understand that. It would be nice to have the G8 and G9 poses separate or in a different color. Also the partials are mixed with the full poses.

  • This is a shot in the dark and may well be something you've already checked, but a canned pose often won't (or maybe even can't) undo user-set posing controls such as Eyes Wide or Arms Up-Down. I'd go into the Posing tab for the figure and click "Currently Used" and see what that says before I tried to look for problems anywhere else. To me that looks like a figure who has one of the Arms pose settings on and Waist Bend backwards in the Torso controls.

I don't have too many Zedd G9 pose packs yet, and I don't have the one you used, but I've used all kinds of poses from the G9 Sumptuous Sofa and Ultimate Conversation packs, and I haven't had any of them misbehave.

thanks. I think I've found the problem, me. I didn't understand how the poses are set up. The lack of organization makes it a mess but there are full poses and partial poses...so tops, endividual legs, arms, etc. ... but they are not in any kind of order that I've found so far, plus they're mixed for G8 and 9. Quite a mess actually.

It could be worth opening a ticket: maybe there is a problem with this set, because the couple of sets from Zeddicus I own are correctly organized, with Genesis 8 poses in a Genesis 8 folder, Genesis 9 in Genesis 9 folder. There is a folder for the full poses and one folder for each kinf of sub-poses.

that's a great thing to know. Thanks. I'll try uninstalling/reinstalling to see if that works then send a ticket if not. I have 3 different pose sets like that now from Zeddicuss.

OH !  --they are in folders within Content Library but not in Smart Content. So much for being smart.  I usually use smart content to load my things.  I guess its time to move out of there.

Oh, sorry, I didn't think about Smart content, I only use the dumb version blush

  • Yes, with anything that needs orgainising (poses that come in a system, sahder sets) I usually use the right-click>Show Asset>Show Asset in mapped/Virtual folder to see the actual folder organisation.

I was going to say, I never use smart content and haven't had any issues finding Zeddicus poses and they are seperated between G8, G8.1 and G9 in the content library

I usually switch to Mapped Folders as Richard does. But they could've been categorized By Generations if Daz provides Vendor Categories accordingly... Personally, esp. for the products from 3rd-partiesI, I usally install  them with Content Wizard By such Categories as I'm a heavy user of Smart Content...
