Strange ERC bug still in DS 4.22.1.41.
I am still leery of installing the release version of 4.22, but I have the public build beta. Have noticed a bug with erc rigging. Long story short, I have some bones with controls that work fine on their own, using zrotate and xrotate. But there are other controls that use those controls as subcomponents that act strangely. Looking at property hierarchy, those subcomponents have all been changed to yrotate. Works fine in 4.21, the subcomponents in PH are still at zrotate or xrotate as they should be. Is this a known issue? Do I need to submit a ticket and give more detail?

Submitting a ticked should get confirmation if it is a known issue, or will make it known if not. Do you know how to trigger the issue, or is it content from others that is showing it?
I've been nearly played with ERC and PH everyday with latest 4.22, so far so good... So you mean the subcomponents were changed to yrotate after you opened scene file or load the figure in latest 4.22 PB? Post some screenshots if possible ?
It is actually a figure that I made. It worked fine in DS up to version 4.21, but the problem has shown up in every beta of 4.22.
EDIT: So it is entirely possible it is a problem I caused--but why did it work fine before and not now?
If you are comparing a General Release with the Public Build, do they have the same content directories listed in the same order? My suspicion would be there are two versions of the file, and the two release channels are not loading the same one.
Okay, sorry, got distracted. But I have screenshots. My content directories are not exactly the same in 4.21 and 4.22, but it is the same directory. Note first two screenshots.
I have posted results from 4.21 (Purple) and 4.22 (Red) with the corresponding parameter properties.
Ok, well just looking around making the screenshots allowed me to fix the problem. In 4.22 I did have two directories, Orbot and Orbot-Updated. It seems that 4.22 was reading info from Orbot.dsf in the updated directory, which did indeed have parameter as yzx instead of zxy. Weird.
So I simply removed Orbot-updated from the content directory and all works as it should. Some strange cross talk happening there, I guess.
Like I said before, user error!
What happens if you rearrange the content directories in the beta to match those in the general release (Edit>Preferences>Content tab>Content Directory Manager)?
I can try it, but I assume it will still work, as the Orbot-Updated folder is not in 4.21 either.
