There is already an awesome thread for all the wonderful gifts the PA's made for us this year. Thank you!  But I want to extend an extra word of graditute to Daz3D for the lovely Advent offerings and other Free gifts I received.  I tried to participate daily. 

Most often, I chose the Free option (I did take the $2.99 choice a couple times) and received some very nice things.  Would love to see what others got for advent too!

The only issue with the free gifts, if you want to get an interactive licence for them, you have to get it that day.  After the day they vanish from the shelves and therefore can't be added.  I would have got licensesfor  the socks and jigsaw puzzle but forgot lol

If Daz ever do another promotion where I can finish off a few of my bundles and pay for the items I don't own I may well reup my Daz+...

It's so fun to see how varied the gifts were for each person! I'm not 100% certain how it works, but as I understand it, the algorithm generates options from DO items in your wishlist first. If it doesn't find anything (within certain parameters) that are Daz Originals, it then generates random items. The staff doesn't manually choose gifts for each patron of Daz products, I don't think! (If they were, I'd kindly be asking Santa Daz to notice the Victoria 9 Mega Bundle sitting in there!) Lol! But the algorithm does seem pretty good at making it sort of feel like it's personal (to me, anyway). I really enjoyed the whole process and it seems it was a good time to find my way back here because it was a lot of fun to participate. And it's fun to see what others got too! Thanks for sharing, guys! And thanks again to Daz3d.

If you're not already doing it, looking at Lightning Deals during sales impacting a product you want is a good idea, one that doesn't take that long (a minute every 3h) and while there is no guarantee, who knows, you may get lucky one day.

Victoria 9 and her bundles can appear in Lightning Deals (I saw one of her medieval smaller bundles in mines a couple of weeks ago) and Mega Bundles are eligible: that's how I got Michael 9 HD Fantasy Mega Bundle for a very good price (made even better because I still had a the 6 out of 18 Daz+ coupon).

@JasmineSkunk, I would like to join you in thanking Daz for a generous and absolutely successful Christmas sale. Not only were the advent calendar, the PA freebies and the 'almost-freebies' ($1.94 for 3 punches!!) great, the idea of the punch card itself was fantastic. I'll have to do the math now to see how much I saved with the 35% discount. Now that Christmas is over, I wish Daz, the PAs and everyone in the community a happy and creative New Year!

That would be my (BAD) luck if it showed up in there now! LOL. I'm broke after buying the AM Bear today!  No more cash to spend. But I have had a lot of fun. It has been a very Merry Holiday for me at Daz!

I have noticed that after adding some older assets to the whishlist they immediately appeared on the advent calender the next day. I did not test this every day, so it could be coincidal but I'm pretty sure it was not totally random. 

Edit: I wanted to ask if the advent calendars continue. It shows calender items for the 1st and 2nd but I guess that's just lazy programing.

I don't even remember what I got because it was all so unmemorable. Lots of really old stuff I must have put on my wishlist over 10 years ago, things that had already been about $2.00, lots of Daz+ and textures for clothes I passed on many times. Many I didn't even want to download for free but I did anyway. Very meh calendar for me. I guess I should have gone through my extensive wishlist and removed all the old stuff. 

But I should add that many of the $1.94 items, which I think were all PA items, I AM happy with!  But the calendar sucked for me.

This was, by far, the most generous promotion I have seen anyone run, not just DAZ. I think I got every one of the top priorities on my wish list from just the advent calendar, and the holiday freebies should keep Genesis 9 warm and freaky (the button eyes, love them!) all winter. I painted the toilet seat gold and stuck it on the trophy from the Genesis 8 set, and it will probably go in that old carnival game where you have to throw a softball through a toilet seat. I won't list every holiday gift, but each one is some combination of fun and useful. I am amazed and super super grateful for DAZ and the PAs. Thank you!
