Can DIM look more like DC?

As someone who started in Daz after DC was the norm and used it daily only to now be rolled back into the archaic DIM, I'm having trouble adjusting to the text based UI. I know I can right click, or check off several and right click to get teeny-tiny thumbnails that I can hover over to get bigger thumbnails (I had to set mine at 400pix), but is there any way to get it like DC where I can get a screen of rows and colums of big thumbs so I can easily spot my products? I rarely pay attention to names but I almost always recall what the product or character looked like. That's why DC was so incredibly useful to me and why DIM is practically useless to me.

Not yet. Although, I did read in another thread that there will be an optional alternative interface to DIM coming at a later stage that would resemble something closer to what DC had.

When was DC the norm? LOL

I always thought it was odd that DAZ had so many different ways to install, find and use content. I guess that is good in a way since users can use what works best for them, but it also seems to be confusing. I would probably stop using DS if Smart content or DC was the only option I had.

  • Indeed, one of the Daz Staff did say there wuld be a grid view added. Since the topic is in geenral covered in other threads, and has been answered here, I am closing this thread.
