Pants With Laces?

Hello All!

I'm in search of pants that are secured with laces or ties or buttons of some sort. Pretty much anything that isn't just a standard pull-up (like a lot of pants) or a zipper (like a lot of pants). It's for a male figure, but I can fit female pants if needbe...however the issue I've run into with a few of the female pants I've been able to find that have laces are that they are ultra low riders, so look pretty ridiculous on a male figure. 

Here is a neat example that I really like, but other than the crotch area, there isn't much too them -

It is for a medieval fantasty piece, so something that isn't completely obviously modern would be nice. Also, something that is nicely detailed...so nothing that is super old. I can convert to dForce, but still details do matter. Thanks!

    I'm sure you'll get some better suggestions because I swear I've seen some, but the only thing I have in my library are these shorts - https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-rockyshoo-outfit-for-genesis-8-females. Sadly all one texture

    Thanks - I have that but I'm not looking for laces on the legs, necessarily. I'm looking for a laced or tied fly. Laces or rivets on the legs could be an interesting additional feature, but the fly detail is a must.  

    EDIT to add that they will be worn with a corset and dress shirt...so kinda formal/dressy.

    These are too low riding to not look wierd on a male. Also not formal enough. Should have specified that he will be wearing them with a corset and dressy shirt.

    For a male, the one that Sid linked to is my favorite that I've seen. It's wish listed and waiting for that magical day when I get to add it to my library.

    I actually want the complete set, but the pants are a Must for my Dartanbeck character!

    But I really like the rest of the outfit too.

    It would be nice to see some that have that wider pattern for the laces with the laces going through eyelets. Metal eyelets!

    There is a nice set of leather pants with laces and metal eyelets on Rendo by Rhiannon, but sadly they are for females and are ultra low riders. I can work with pants made for females and just convert them, but if they are too low in the waist there isn't much I can do.

    Haven't checked the ones I bought from the DAZ Store but the football pants I wore in school had a laced fly.

    I checked and the only football product that does, somewhat subdued though, is K4 Football Uniform | Daz 3D. However, you have to jump through hoops to get K4 products fitted to later Genesis generations.

    I don't have any of my D|S computers up right now, but I own every one of the outfits linked, even the K4 outfit! If you want, later today, I could load a G9M or G8M if you prefer and do test renders on each. I could even see if any other pants have laces, I keep thinking there are more but I might be thinking of the ones for ladies.

    I will be buying the Rogue Elf Outfit as that has been in my wishlist...plus I still have my DO coupon to use for the month so works out perfectly. I'm not really interested in anything as old as K4 as it needs to be able to hold up next to a photoreal G9 character. 

    Even though I'm getting the Rogue Elf Outfit, I definitely would appreciate more suggestions if they are out there because I can always use nice pants for males!

    There is this one: https://www.daz3d.com/southern-noble-outfit-for-genesis-8-males, plus its texture set.

    The pants have laces, but that is only from the textures, the laces are not modelled into the outfit. It is however a formal outfit, that you are looking for.

    Sickleyield also does a couple of pants with fully modelled laces, but they are for Genesis 1, and not available here (they are on sharecg I think). The quality is good, with lots of morphs, like all SY clothing. They are not very formal though.

    Yes, I have this set...unfortunately it doesn't hold up under close scrutiny.

    Well as I tried to find shirts to go with the pants, I found that the https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-renaissance-attire-for-genesis-8-male has laced up pants. You can't see the laces until you load the pants by themselves.

    Oh nice - I hadn't realized the pants had laces. I used the doublet with this piece so I will definitely look at the pants.
