DIM and Daz Studio "-1 byte" Headache

Daz Studio told me that there was an update available to the program - 4.22.0.15

I went into DIM, updated Genesis 9 Essentials with no problems. But everytime I go to install Daz Studio via DIM, the installed file size is -1 bytes.

My computer is telling my that I already have Daz installed, but it won't open, and I can't uninstall the -1 bytes

Edit: When downloading Studio, the download gets stuck at 4%, and DIM become unresponsive.

EDIT 2: I can't seem to find the Beta  version in DIM either.

EDIT 3 (Last): I've had to install Daz Studio manually. But the DIM thing is still an issue.

  • Is another Hamster Dying? It sounds like a network issue. I just had one myself; I would try downloading things, and they would stick or take hours to Download. Have you restarted your router and internet device?

If you're having trouble getting a website to load, try other steps, like clearing your browser's temporary files and cookies, adjusting your browser settings to turn off pop-up blockers, allowing sites to save and read cookies, and restarting your router, computer, and Internet modem. If you have exhausted your options, you can flush your DNS records and request a new server request.

Run CMD in Admin rights type ipconfig /flushdns, and hit enter.

That sounds like something is blocking files from being installed.  In the past I've seen malwarebytes do it.  Check the helper log (settings icon in upper right, last item) if it says a file couldn't be installed.  What security software do you use?
