Legacy Items and Duplicates

Is it safe to say that ANY item marked as Legacy is no longer supported bt DAZ.
I tried deleteing them, then Hiding them, but they are still showing up in Smart Content.

That reminds me, when fixing Gray Thumbnail problems I now have a lot of a lot of duplicates in Smart Content.
How do I fix that??

Generally, the Legacy versions are for versions of Daz Studio before DS 4.5, so you don't need them.  A lot of products have versions for more than one generation of figure -- sometimes there are separate packages for each figure, so you don't need to install the ones you don't use; in other cases all the versions get installed (for example, a hair or clothing item may have versions for several different figures, so if they have separate versions for figures you don't use, you don't have to install them all.)

Are the duplicates from products which were installed with both Daz Install Manager and Daz Connect?

First, if you don't need Legacy version, just don't install them.

Second, for the duplicated thumbnails of products, simply check if you've installed them via both DIM and Daz Connect. For instance, in Smart Content pane, select "Gou Luk Bundle(s)" one by one, check the product info. - as the attached screeshot. If one is Daz Connect : No / No,  another is Daz Connect: Yes / Yes, then that's the case of duplicated installation...

    - either, you uninstall the products installed via Daz Connect one by one in Smart Content
    - or, manually delete Daz Connect folder, Reset cms database, re-import metadata or reinstall all your products via DIM. Then deactivate Daz Connect folder in Content Directory Manager and never log on to Daz Connect in DS.

    Always suggest use DIM only...
