Hello to all my fellow artists!
I am thinking about downloading Unity to use it to make some games and I would really like to use my DAZ 3d models and props and such. Is there a way to do so, and is there any sort of liscensing or anything that is required to use DAZ 3D files (the actual files, not artwork) in other applications? i have imported DAZ 3D figures into blender as mannequins before, but I am wondering if Unity is any different.

Yes, you need to purchase a game developer license from Daz3d.

That licence only covers the use of DAZ Originals. For PA items you need a licence from the PA too.
In fact you may need to purchase several, as the one linked to only covers Daz Originals. Any PA items need a separate license from the PAs, and only a few PAs offer geme dev licenses. The other PAs don't want their content used in games.

Thanks guys
