Locked pose trees and the timeline

I'm looking at something really weird.  I have a scene which I am dForcing.  My timeline is set to "61" and my "Current" is set to "30".  The character in question is in the default pose and was inserted screen-subset after deleting all dForcing and all frames except "0".  Yet at frame "30" there is a pose; frame "0" is the defaults, frame "30" has a hip rotate, pelvis rotate, etc.  The character is locked hip downwards and there are absolutely no "keyframes" after "0".  I'm TRSOAH.

I unlock the pose tree at "30" and NO CHANGE.  No keyframes.

Duh, what?

It's not just that there are no keyframes for the collpased hip on the timeline after "0" but there are no keyframes on THE WHOLE CHARACTER, so there should be no way for controllers to FU keyframe "30".

I guess I'll save it without the hip lock, reload and, some time later, try to work out what is going on but it looks like there is a major problem in 4.22.1.54 (NOTE: it's the beta, general users can ignore.)

    Yep.  Close DS (after saving the scene), Load DS, reload Scene and, there shall ye see keyframes at 30: lo, I have told you.

    Just because they can't be deleted does not mean they aren't there.
