It would be nice if the artists creating products would list those things on the product pages. Some of them used to, but they don't seem to be doing that much anymore. If it's a unique character that the artist created for the promo, then they should state that on the page. It would be so helpful to people who want to know.

I'm think it's a custom mix. I feel like I would remember this character if he were sold as is.

Here's some characters that may or may not be in the mix, I'm just wildly guessing:

I just assume every character in a promo is a custom character, especially with so many morphs that can be added to any figure. It boggles my mind that users think it's easy to identify a character from promos with so many options every user has for creating unique characters. It's why I just move on when i read a post asking about the character in a promo since anything I post will only be a guess unless the info was already posted and I can point them to it, which is usually not the case.

I learned early on that even if I loved the look of a character in a promo, unless I had everytthing else in the scene, including the environment and lighting, my attempts, even if i had the character info usually looked nothing like the promo.

Yes, unless it's obvious which character it is, it's usually a waste of time trying to find it.  Sometimes the texture is so unique (spots, freckles etc.) that you can easily identify the character, but then it may be morphed with God know which morphs.  It's different with hair, clothing etc., they are usually so different and unique that they are easy to identify if you have or know them.

I think it's worth asking around in the forum. Sometimes I recognise the character, or even just the skin. Not this time.
