Hello;
I would like to know if fibermesh lashes are really worth it compared to vanilla G8F lashes with a material from a quality character ?

Personally, unless i am going an extreme closeup of the face, I don't see the point of fiber lashes
Thanks, that's what I seem to get from my research so far :)
I vote no, but I generally don't do close-ups.
tyra_oeildeloup,
Hello. I vote a "yes" on this!
I use Luxe Fibermash Lashes and Brows by Colm Jackson. At a medium shot distance, the FM lashes adds lushness to the base G8F ones. The effect is pronounced when the camera view is at 45 degrees and onwards, instead of head-on. If I understand the asesthetics of eye make up correctly, it's not the individual lash strands that matter; instead it's the collective volume that enhances the eyes, upping the contrast with the lighter sclera and making eyes stand out, more alluring and so on. So the upshot of FM lashes comes into play with medium to near camera shots, not so much extreme close ups IMHO.
Cheers!
I'd say "no, not worth it". Looking at extreme closeup renders (admittedly, a relatively small percentage of what I do), I can't say that there is a meaningful improvement with fibermesh lashes. To me, they're a sort of minor file bloat.
I experience the same thing. And I don't live in an area where it's important to protect your eyes from too bright a sun - which is one of the reasons why we have eyelashes. Perhaps the relevant PAs believe that eyelash-less eyes are more 'masculine'. Yikes.
