how to match Anatomical Elements to original skin

Hi, I'm just using genitals for the first time for G2, and it is white. I figured out a way to add skin to it, however it's not at all the same as the base skin of whatever figure I'm attaching it to. How can I match it up with the figure base skin so it doesn't look like a frankenstein thing?

Is this G2F or G2M? They work differently — the G2F geograft just uses the same textures as the G2F Hips surface, so all you need to do is select the geograft and apply the same texture from your Content as you applied to the G2F figure.
G2M is a bit more complicated, it needs a separate texture for the geograft, and not all G2M characters have one included. Check the What's Included part of the store page for that character, it should be mentioned there.
yeah specifically this is for G2M, and ones which don't include a genital texture. I"d like to choose a texture from another character, then change the skin tone to match I guess.
Very much a non-trivial exercise, I'm afraid. Even experts consider this sort of job tricky, slow, and involving a lot of trial and error. Mostly error. It's quite possible to get fairly close, but a true seamless join where the two textures fit together needs a lot of work.
Kind of a Masterpiece then that can exposed in Luovre :-D
ah ok! Well for future reference, as simple as you make it sound, could you give me the "for dummies" version of how to do this for G2F?
go into surfaces panel; it's on the right for default UI.
with G2F selected, right click on the hip, and copy selected surfaces.
select the Gentials, or other item copying to in the scene tab and in the surfaces tab.
(apply the IRAY Uber base if the G2F has IRAY shaders. If not then don't.)
right click in the surfaces panel on the genital item and paste to selected surfaces.
I generally use the M4 Satanica gens with G2M, and do this-
1. Position and parent the M4 gen figure to G2M and apply a gen texture. Take note of where the gen texture is for step 4.
2. After you have the Iray G2M body shader applied, select the hip with the surface selection tool and save it as a shader preset into your content library. This will let you transfer the body shader setup to the gen figure.
3. Apply the shader to the gen figure. You can then delete from library if no longer needed.
4. In the surface editor find the original gen texture and apply it to the Base Color node of the gens.
5. ... and the tricky bit is you need to then play around with the gen texture colour (brightness, colour balance, contrast etc.) in a 2D program to get a good match. Open both the gens texture and the figure texture side by side in PS so you can see how close you match them.
You don't need a perfect match as pubic hair usually covers the pubic seam anyway.

Hmm I tried this, but nothing happens at all. The genitals remain their basic white. Just to double check, I selected the hip, went to shaders, right-clicked, selected copy selected surface, then selected the genitals, went to surfaces, right-clicked, and selected paste to selected surface. Was I supposed to select a subset of "hip" or "genitals?"
It's fuinny I understand what is supposed to happen, what's bothering me is I cannot make it work correctly; I did, however, make it work in reverse. Anyone want a gray character with genitals?
