creating HDRI with Carrara

All i've found about creating HDRI with Carrara is "different angles, different exposures, use a 3rd party app". No actual instructions.Anyone know of any tuts or can teach me?

    Yes is the short answer.  I have never done it.  But this thread will have some information, and some pointers to more information.

    EDIT - Note that Carrara is merely generating the multiple 360 degree images necessary for an HDRI or EXR.  You will need to use another program to process them.  The link gives examples of other programs.

    that's one thread i looked at, but i'm 5' tall and it all flew over nmy head. lol i know i gotta stitch images together, but not the method to renderthe different images. that's where i'd start

    I just export a render as Raidiance HDR in Gimp and they work fine
