Product Sku:23

So, I'm STILL installing stuff (beleive it or not) and as I was going through the DIM, carefully installing everything (pretty much) one by one to make sure I knew where everything went and that everything worked, I came across the Daz Morphing Skull (found here: https://www.daz3d.com/morphing-skull) and I noticed something that made me smile with a bit of bemusement and amazement. It had a Product Sku number: 23

23!!!! smiley

That HAS to be the oldest product I own...

Anyone have an item with a smaller product sku than 23? (just curious) smiley

    I just looked and Millennium Man Michael 1.0 has SKU 3 in my account.

    I appear to be a newbie here.. 'SKU 340, Zebra (Inactive)' seems to be my earliest, followed by Jim Burton's Las Vegas Hair at SKU 627.

    The oldest seems to be Bass (sku:360), but I got it as a freebie.

    I would suggest that the readme's have much of the old stuff, but not all by any means. My earliest character that I still use (SKU 1171) is missing entirely from that list.

    The oldest item I could find was the rhino in the SKU 320 range. Might just dust it off and run it through a render in iray and see how it holds up.

    sadly no longer in store, but those that have them can see them 

    the last number is the sku so you can search your lowest that way or sku::# in your products filter

    Hmmm.  8 = Victoria 2 Character Pack 1.  - But...

    According to DIM, my lowest SKU is the Victoria 2 Character Pack 1, which is 8.  Note that add on Victoria 2 Character Pack has a lower SKU than the base figure Victoria 2.  Something is suspicious.

    Consider the product IDs for Victoria 1 and Victoria 2.  According to my online Daz3D account product library, Victoria 2 (SKU 83) has a lower SKU than Millenium Woman: Victoria 1 (SKU 85), and I bought them in the same order in 2011.  There must have been some after-the-fact reorganizing by the store.  I know I bought Millenium Woman : Victoria 1 before Victoria 2 came out.  That was back in the Poser days almost a full decade before 2011.

    Anomolies aside, my lowest SKU is 8.  Victoria 2 Character Pack.

    For me, it appears to be SKU 306: Charger Horse | Daz 3D. Next oldest is Bass, mentioned by someone else above.

    Although only about in the oldest 30 or so items, I noticed SKU 2917: Victorian Street Front | Daz 3D (Read Me dates it from 2004) which I used in a gallery item last month:

    SKUs are not a reliable indicator of age - Victoria 1, SKU 85, is older than Michael 1, SKU 3. I can't recall the details but I think the current SKUs date from a store software update way back when.

    I have a cross-reference list that shows the old naming/numbering vs the new - I recall the changeover but not exactly when it happened. It's on an old PC though, so I can't get at it till I have occasion to switch that one on.

    My "oldest" now is SKU 23 too.

    I just had a look and technically my lowest SKU # is 2 from an order in 2006, when I bought Bryce and had it burned to disc because I was still on dialup at the time. Other than that, it's the Morphing Skull.

    I have SKU 1, PC Monthly, which actually includes some Vicky 3 stuff.  Lowest individual item is SKU 8, the V2 Character Pack.

    Thanks for the history trivia, Richard. It's still fun though, even if it doesn't indicate an "exact" age. smiley Did Victoria's sku change with updates, I wonder?

    I have purchased the Victoria 2 Bundle, there are inside Character Pack 1 (SKU 8) & Character Pack 2 (SKU 9)

    My oldest SKU is 32, https://www.daz3d.com/fashion-studio by maclean and was updated to Iray 3Delight versions a few years ago. I love that maclean has been updating many of his older  products to Iray and keeping them current. Great customer service. The read me says it was released on 31 May 2001.

    That one's VERY cool, though! smiley It's fun to see older things that are still so relevent today! Just need updated shaders, or textures and they are *brand new* again! heart
