Is there a quick way to change content library?

DS has the feature to add multiple content library folders in the preferences.
I am searching for a way to enable / disable those without the need to remove them from the preferences.
Reason is that I like to keep a small / clean content dir for testing and the, well, a bit messy normal content dir for daily use.
Any idea?

You can create multiple Content Sets in Content Directory Manager, e.g. one Set for all, one set for minimum and clean, etc... then switch among the Content Sets as needed.
Great, that solves one part of my question.
As it seems DIM does not offer such setting - e.g. the DS content set allows different CMS folders but DIM only has one CMS folder, Or, DIM allows for one content dir. Everything goes there. As I see it, I would need to fill the alternate content dirs manually by copy / paste or changing everything in DIM including the manifests etc. Is that right?
In DIM, make dummy accounts for offline-only use and create different install folders for each in the advanced settings. Just be sure to keep the cms folder the same. Keep in mind, they will still be gathered in the same smart-content library, just installed to different folders. If it's third-party stuff, or if you want to install it manually, just create library folders like "daz good" and "daz sketchy." No matter how your break it down, it's going to involve some uninstalling and reinstalling, so a "quick" solution won't be had. The other solution would be to go into meta and create custom categories. (edit: some of that stuff you addressed while I was typing)
Ok, that's what I feared - fiddly manual work for downloading and installing but a good solution within DS once the manual part is done. Thanks for the help.
After installing all of your products to your main Daz Library, it'll be pretty simple to build a minimal Daz Libary. For instance, you just want to have four starter essentials from G2 to G9 in there. You just manually extract the content folders from the IM packages to the minimal Library, configure a content set for it, then switch. As metadata in cms is based on relative paths of assets, with this minimal content set, you'll find the essential products in both Smart Content and Content Library with no problem.
If you install products from scratch, a better way is : you first of all create a Daz Library, name it as e.g. "Daz Essentials", then you only install Starter products into this Library. Then create other Libraries as needed. For a full Content Set, you configure all paths of Libraries there, for the minimal Content Set, you just set the path of "Daz Essentials" there, so on and so forth...
Yes, the unzip -> copy -> paste is the way I do it anyway with third party stuff, so I can do it with DAZ stuff as well. It would be just much more simple if DIM would have content sets like DS has. That way DIM would allow for download, install, unistall, manifests, etc. being individual for each set. It would be like having totally independent DAZ installs without the need to create e.g. a Windows VM or the like. But I think, it is a special case not relevant for normal use of DAZ.
You can feed DIM a list of SKUs representing a set of products, to download/install/uninstall these.
