Render View - Progress bar in 4.22.1.74 Beta ?

New install of DS after PC repair.

In the old DS 4.21.xx there was a progress bar in the render view that showed the iterations.

Is this gone in 4.22.1.74 Beta?

In the latest beta there is no render info at all except from the image itself.

No, the pop up window showing iteration count and convergence percent is still part of 4.22.1.74 Public Build. Is it hidden behind some other window? Click on the main DS window and see if the progress window reappears.

    Stupid me. smiley

Yes, it was hidden behind the render window - thank you yes. To my defense, this is maybe not the smartest UI design.

You might guess that I have experienced this same thing (hidden behind other window) numerous times.

Technically it can be tricky and not always possible to make multiple child windows behave exactly like you want.  One option may have one side effect, while another may have another, depending on the context.

In this case, if the progress window is hidden behind the render window, just use alt+tab to toggle between the DS main window and the render window, the progress window will normally always be on top of the main window.

If you're running low on RAM in Windows however, child windows can behave strange sometimes, like hiding behind another window (sometimes jumpning forth and back every few seconds) where they should remain on top.

I understand that and in the end it is not a real issue. I personally would like to have a more advanced render info function anyway - something that writes the time, interation, vram used, texture size MB, geometry MB into the image tags (e.g. exif, or png / jpg private tags) and offers a view to read that info out of the saved files. For example: if I create an image in stable diffusion, I can use SD Promt Reader to get all relevant parameter information out of that png file - same with raw files from my camera. Would be cool to have something like that in DS.
