Not getting the Horse 3 poses to work with G9

Hello, 

I have both the West Ride Hierarchical Poses for Genesis 9 and Daz Horse 3 and Gentle Horse Poses for Daz Horse 3, English Style Tack, and Genesis 9. Both sets state they are fore G9 as well as the horse but, I can only get them to pose the horse. I have tried the pose on just G9 and I receive the error -

Operation failed

I have also tried parenting G9 to the horse as well as the other way around and in both instance the horse poses but G9 remains in original pose. The log file shows -

Am I doing something wrong or were the produst not actually meant for G9 and just the horse?
