Starlette hair blocky

I applied Starlette hair from Propschick to Cavey G8F and in some of the shots, its like she has a big cow lick. Is this link the solution to this problem? Does anyone have transparency maps that fix Starlette hair? - Daz 3D Forums.

Is it only visible in render? You should be aware of that the white background makes it more pronounced.

The hair has a number of morphs that might be able to make it look better.

You are right, it appears to be more pronounced in the render versus in viewport. It may very well be the issue described in the linked post.
