Smoothing rounds Elf Ears; how do I prevent this?

Hi, I'm applying the ghost primitives.  It recommends upping the smoothing iterations and the collision iterations to make the deformations where the ghost primitives hit, but when I do that, the character loses the points on her elven ears.  How do I stop the ears from being affected by the smoothing?

Alternately, is there a way I can deform the mesh in the same way on the body in such a way that the ears are not affected.?

  • Try switching the mode to Generic, instead of Base Shape Matching. How many Smoothing iterations is it being given?

recommended is 30, so that's what I am using.

That is surprisingly high - I would not go into double-digits for most uses (aside from anything else, increasing the iterations increases the time taken).
