I only have 25 GB left on my 500 GB C drive and want to uninstall DAZ because I do not use it anymore and save the content I have purchased to another portable drive. I am willing to pay someone to walk me through the process. I have read various posts and do not feel comfortable going through the process without some expert help.

I was in the same position of low disc space.
I literally copied “My Daz 3D Library”
to an external 2TB drive and linked to it with the content directory manager.
I was able to delete the “My Daz 3D Library” from my C drive freeing up a much needed 80 gigbytes of space on my C drive
NOTE: Here is some extra info - providing that you use DIM (or previously Daz Central) to install content. If you use Daz Connect (installing within Daz Studio itself) then please ignore this reply as it won't be applicable.
If you are looking to uninstall Daz and archive your Library, you can just copy/move the content base folder(s) across to the portable drive. Don't forget you'll probably have atleast the main library where your Daz content is installed in adition to a second library that will hold your saved scenes (and maybe other stuff you have made). However, for a fuller backup you should also first go to the corner menu in Smart Content tab, click on "Content DB Maintenance", check the box for "Export User Data" and click Accept. This will backup any manual changes you have made to the metadata (either directly or indirectly) and save it to the Resources/Support folder of your primary base library (the one listed first).
Then, you will also really need to backup your Manifest files that DIM uses to "know" what you have installed. You can look in the settings of DIM to see where these live on your system.
If/When you decide to re-install Daz Studio you can add the base libraries from your portable drive and then using "Content DB Maintenance" again you can use the "Re-import Metadata" option to rebuild the database. Then in DIm you can restore the Manifest Files and so DIM will once again know what is installed. However, bear in mind that while Daz Studio doesn't care where the content is installed as long as the path within the base library is correct, the Manifest files doe have the absolute path recorded for all installed files. Thus if not hand-edited this may cause issues with uninstalling and perhaps some other edge cases that I can't think of right now.
A 2Tb drive? I'm about to have to replace my 8Tb drive, as it is running out of room...
