...she's the first G9 charcter to pique my interest as she comes so close to of one of the major supporting characters in my story arc.  Love to get her but it would also mean having to invest in other core G9 content. including poses and clothing content/conversion scripts

    Heavy decision time..

Pose her manually or use one of the free pose converters. Poses for base G9 need adjusting for character shapes anyway, so no need to buy them. Use what you have for G8 or G3 with a free converter.

Apply clothing and hair (not dForce hair) with autofit. With unusual character shapes, converters won't do a very good job anyway, so you might as well save the money and use autofit.  Either way, with unusual characters, you will probably have to do adjustments with smoothing, Mesh Grabber, mesh offset, or a modeling program to resolve poke through anf distortions. Even G9 clothing doesn't fit exotic shapes, like Twiggant. Dryanna is probably much easier to fit than Twiggant.

See, there is no reason not to get her.

    You convince me!

...as my modelling skills are pretty much lacking, for solving autofit issues I find utility software and scripts such as Xev0's Fit Control and Projection Morph Master to be two very indispensable tools.  Unfortunately the former is generation based (I have the G3/G8 version),  I also have Ultimate Pose Master but as with Fit Control. this is not compatible with G9 due of the switch to a unimesh figure. Unfortunately XTransfer hasn't been updated for G8 to G9 (yet) which I find is another highly valuable utility for transferring morphs and shapes, which In some ways gives better results than the character converters. (I've even been able to transfer morphs  that I converted to G3 through GenX/enX2 to G8).

I did find and downloaded a free pose converter by n_alexandru that coverts poses from all Genesis generations to G9, are are you familiar with that one?

I can't compare them with converters sold by PAs, but so far, they never gave me a reason to look for a paid converter: while you have a pose selected in your library panel, you just have to remember to use the correct script for the selected figure in the scene panel (otherwise, it'll raise an error telling you to select the correct figure), and after that, either it'll automatically find the figure the pose was made for (how, I don't know) or a menu will appears, asking you to select it manually.

Then, the magic happens and the pose is applied.

Yes, that is an excellent one. I use it frequently. Here is another good one that works differently. I think it was the first one that was available for G8 to G9. It was posted in the forum before being available elsewhere. I've used it successfully for hierarchical pose presets.

You are welcome ! Love your critters. No mix, just a combination of camera angle with the NPR filter.
