Confused about Daz Tokens
Most likely this question will end up in another group, but I'll ask it anyway.
Either the Daz Tokens program has a glitch or I don't understand how it works. Currently I have enough for 13% off. When I place a $5.99 product into the shopping cart, Daz Tokens says I need to spend $4.01 more to get for the next token. When I delete the item and add a $29.99 item it says I need a penny more for the next token.
So, first question. How many tokens do I need to get 45% off?
Second, if different priced items get a certain amount of tokens, does the statement about how much more to spend about getting another token?
It would be a lot easier to understand if the statement tells you instead how much you have to buy to get the 45% off. It would be much easier and less confusing.
Comments
One needs to buy $10 worth to earn one token, with $80 one earns 8 tokens.
On Mondays and Tuesdays, one gets 2 tokens for each $10.

The Daz Studio discussions forum is for just that - Daz Studio. If you want a catch-all destination use the Commons (to which i have moved this since it doesn't have an obvious home elsewhere)
Yeah, I believe it Richard. I'm talking about something for Daz Studio and you say it's not for Daz Studio. Okay, break it down for me for future reference. Where do I post a question about a product/program I purchased on Daz Studio? I have a problem now with something I recently purchased but want to make sure I post it where it needs to go.
"Daz Studio Discussions" is for topics about the application, not content or store.
For a problem with content the "Technical help" section would usually be the right one.
For a more general question, "The Commons" is generally the right place.
When you have a question about a particular product, it is a good idea to look in the Daz PA Commercial Products forum category, to see if the PA has created a support thread for the product. Not all PAs do that and not all PAs participate in helping customers to the same level. Some that provide outstanding forum support in their commercial threads are RiverSoftArt and Zev0. Posting in those threads will also attract the attention of and help from experienced users of the products.
Daz Studio is an application developed by Daz 3D, it isn't the store or website for daz 3D.
Thaks for all the info, everyone. The problem I have now I tried at another forum. Need to check if I'm right about it. The problem isn't a technical one, or a glitch, it's lack of information. Several items you can buy 'assumes' you know how to do it. The last two items I bought left out a crucial detail about locations and how to find destination. The P.A. assumes you have the exact setup as he/she has. Plus, they assume you have a degree in program, ing. All this gets frustgration when trying to work with a new product and have no degree.
Thanks again, all, for clarifying it.
First off how did you install the products? Connect, manually, or with DIM?
