Clipping in Render but not Viewport

I've been working on a render and am having an annoying problem of a Gen 9 character clipping through their clothing in the render. The thing is, everything looks fine in the Viewport, it's only when rendering when something goes wrong. Clipping happens before the mesh smoothing is processed on the clothing, but after the mesh finishes processing, there's no more clipping in the viewport. Is there a render setting or something I can change here to fix this to make sure the smoothing is processed succesfully when rendering? What's going on?

Some differences between viewport and render.

SubD level. The render will usually have higher subD, which will smooth the mesh, and might cause clipping.

If there is a displacement map.

Option 1: Try setting the same value of Render SubD Level on G9 and the garment...

Option 2: Add a Geometry Shell to G9, hide it. Select the garment, set Collision Item to the Geo-shell, and increase the value of Smoothing Iterations a bit if needed...

You can also turn off Visible in Render for bones of the character that are completely covered with clothing.
