DIM Issue or something else?

Installing clean content to new win 10 laptop.

I've moved my content to a partition and mapped with Studio 4.8 64 bit

when I navigate the the Daz Studio/Figures/Daz People folder I see all the figures I've downloaded from the DIM this morning, but I don't see V4

If I browse to the folder I see all those figures have a CR2, a DSB and a PNG associated with them except for V4, that only has the DSB file.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the base figure from the DIM and there is no change.

Also when I attempt to DL V4 ethnic faces I get an error "Download Failed!", apparently I need to go to the order from the webpage and download manually. The Install Manager Ready links do nothing when I select them.

Is this correct behavior?

Install Manager 1.1.0.41

Are you looking under Poser Formats or DAZ Studio Formats? Which files ddi you install?

what was in my ready to download list

    victoria 4.2 base

    victoria 4.2 base power loader

    victoria 4.2 Base studioCF

these all appear in my "installed" list.

  • Then the figure should be in Poser Formats>My DAZ 3D Library>Figures>DAZ People. Check the Installed Files list (from the little triangle button on the right of the DIM entry) for the Victoria 4.2 Base.

that where I looked, only the DSB file is present for V4. All other figures are there represented with 3 files, the PNG, the CR2 and DSB

the Win10 computer is not in front of me now,  but I can scour the drive later to see if those other files were left elsewhere. I should have the actual installer and I can see if it's possible to run without DIM. On my Mac right now so I can't test.

going to check tonight when time allows. I think the path is set but it's defiantly not the default path. my content is on a 2nd partition.
