RSSY Clothing Converters - best to do 1 generation at a time or just jump to the final generation?

I have just gotten a bunch of Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 clothing items from freebie sites, and am planning to use them on G8 Females.

I think I have all of the RSSY Clothing Converters except the ones that involve G9.

So does anyone have a preference for "upconverting" clothing 1 generation at a time, or just convert straight to the final target generation?

Would the clothing look any different if different workflow methods were used?

    With only a few exceptions, it's best to go directly; each conversion has the chance to introduce more distortions.

    If it were better to do it one stage at a time, the converters would already be exploiting that as a method.
