Unspired Product Names

Every once in a while a non-editorial licence product will be released that's obviously based on something from pop culture.  The vendors can't call it "Captain Kirk" or "The Millenium Falcon", so they've gotta be creative.

Sometimes the names are really prosaic, like an Avatar Na'vi morph that was called "Popular Alien". 

Sometimes they're more evocative, like a Luke Skywalker character called "Desert Farmboy"

Then you get really clever stuff like "Vault Rustler", "Digger James", and "Miss Dee Anna J"

And then truly legendary like Matty Manx's "Llamaghini Gallopngo" and "Furrawri X95"

Today we've got Alien Merchants, Warriors, Spoonheads and Space Elves.

 

So just for fun, what's YOUR favorite unspired product name?

If I follow what you're saying, even just loosely, then any product named "Anime" fits the bill.

My favorite product names always have "toon" in the name. 

Least inspired names? That's a tough one because you need to be uninspired and obvious when you are naming a product to draw in the buyers looking for that.

My biggest grievance with a product name has long been Foreground Blends. The name doesn't really indicate...well, much of anything, and you certainly wouldn't get the impression from the name that it's grass using the dForce Hair engine that you can apply to any object you want for simulatable grass.

Err. I think I may have been guilty of an unbelievably uninspired freebie name. A 'Spring Thing', here: Spring Thing. It consists of a spring between two planks of wood. Truly a thing with a spring. Regards, Richard.
