Data files, changing names in the Data files, etc.

Can file names in the Daz Studio Data files be renamed, or is that a no no?

Also, can files names be altered in the Textures listing in the Daz Studio's Runtime category?

    Renaming items in Data or Runtim\Textures is asking for trouble. You can, at least with non-encrytped content, edit the calling files to use the new name but it's very easy to slip.

    It is easier to make the changes and save out a new preset.  If you want to load new/edited textures...do so manually, then save out a preset.
