Coupon Code Not Working?

So...this coupon code appears to not work. However, I am likely not understanding this. I added a "Newly Mad" item and added something from the Daz Originals. I get a message stating the coupon is not valid. Anyone know how this should work?

    1. Go to the page that has the coupon.
    2. Add your Newly Mad item to the cart
    3. Click the "Shop" button on the page that has the coupon
    4. Peruse the items and select one that isn't "New" and is a Daz Original
    5. Add that item to the cart, add coupon code, and buy

    The errors that people get generally come from

    1. Forgetting to add the Newly Mad item
    2. Not adding a Daz Original from the list (not all Daz Originals are part of the sale)
    3. Or applying an incorrect code.
