Daz 'ctrl+s' functionality suddenly switched to 'Save' from 'Save As', any way to undo?
This is going to sound very weird, but for years whenever I hit Ctrl+S in Daz, it went to the save-as dialogue.
Today Ctrl+S is suddenly straight up saving without a confirm dialogue. Which is actually correct behaviour by most program standards, but I've built a pretty thought-free workflow around saving variations of my scenes with Ctrl+S, and just know that I'm going to run into trouble which can't be undone after making extensive changes.
The only thing which I think I changed is that I finally tried to get rid of the startup splash screen which opens every time and wouldn't go away no matter what I did before, by inputting random 1 letter junk.
By hitting f3 I can see a bind option for save, but not for save as,

Nevermind, found save-as under the 'save filters' section of the keyboard customization panel, and just put it back to my more unique keybinding. :)
That's right, by design if the author name in DS doesn't match the author name in the scene file File>Save is treated as File>Save as, to avoid overwriting asset files by accident. So with no author name entered it would always Save as rather than Save.
Ah nice to know that I wasn't crazy, and there was a reason. As a software dev myself, I'm kind of amused that I built a whole workflow around such an odd situation.
