So I am trying to select my whole model as I want to seperate the dress mesh from the model. I clicked on the model object by right clicking and then hit the "TAB" button to enter into edit mode as instructed by someone else but I only have her partially selected (in pic) It worked earlier but after restarting and reloading my figure again it seems to only be selecting part of the model. How can I select the whole model please?

you can join the model into single object by selecting all or SHIFT+LBM and drag over the desired objects. Once you select them press the CTRL+JKEY to join all of individual meshes into a single mesh.
if you need to seperate the model's parts from the dress put the model on one layer, put the dress on another

When you import a Daz model into Blender, if you don't want it split into individual objects, you need to make sure that 'Keep Vertex Order' and Polygroups are checked in the import options.
Do not export the figure and dress together, this will destroy the vertex order of both so morphs made for either will not work.
