How do I load Ron's Photoshop files for use in GIMP? & Apologies for asking ?s that were answered

First, I must apologize for asking a question I know has been answered in the past.
Unfortunately, this newest forums software that DAZ is using has no search function.
I have several of Ron's Photoshop files that are sitting in my DAZ Install Manager that I would like to be able to use with GIMP. I remember there was a trick to fool DIM into loading such files into a fake Photoshop folder, but I can't recall the directory structure that's needed.
And given that there's no search for the forums, can we please have a repository of this and other FAQs for respective software for easy lookup??
Thanks in advance
Ryuu

Thanks Richard.
In fact, it's been nearly a full year since I started doing that massive transfer! I've finally got caught up enough to deal with this
Okay...new question:
I got the DIM to install to GIMP, but I'm not able to find his brushes.
Is there a specific place to put the Photoshop files for GIMP to use them?
Thanks,
Ryuu
Here is one way to do it. In GIMP:
Edit > Preferences > Folders:
Brushes: Click on the left white paper icon, then click on the far right folder icon and browse to whatever folder you put the .abr files in and click on ok.
