Poor Map Transfer Results

I've tried several ways of transfering maps from one UV set to another (using the map transfer utility in Daz 4.8), such as M4 to V4, M5, V5 using Genesis and Genesis 2 male and female.  Each time I get slightly different results, however the over riding ussue remains:  seams.  So, I'm having an issue getting textures to mix with other textures designed at varying UV's.  I realize the varying results is because the UV's are not exactly the same between each figure, that is okay, but how do I overcome the seams issue?  Has anyone else figured this out or can give some advise?

That looks to me like the seams on a displacement are not sorting out properly. You could try lowering the displacement, or perhaps a normal and see if that helps.

  • The seams are from having used Map Transfer on textures designed for M4 and transfered to M5, M6, V4, V5, V6 etc.  the seams are the result of poor alignment of the newly created maps and applied to the new UV.  I tried adding normal maps to the figure, but had no affect on the seams.
