Are these add-ons worth getting?

While looking at one of the items I have on my wishlist Predatron Droid Commander it recommends/requires these two add-ons:
Elite Human Surface Shader and pwSurface 2
I'm running DAZ 4.5 -- any insight to these add-ons?

    The former is included in DS4 (and the last version or two of 3). pwSurface is another shader, it has slightly diferent options from HSS/uberSurface (one that you may like is ambient occlusion as a shader property, rather than a light property, so you can be selective about where it is applied).
