DAZ Content Management Service missing

I recently had to reinstall Windows 7 on my laptop, it was a total fresh install. When I installed DAZ Studio 4.8 Pro and 4.9 Pro Beta the DAZ Content Management Service didn't get installed. I am currently unable to create my own catagories and Smart Content is NOT working.
I have reinstalled and tried everything I could think to do, but I can't figure out how to get the Content Managment Service re-installed.
Anyone have any suggestions?

What security software are you using? The CMS engine is PostgreSQL - check to see that that is isntalled (you want only one version, not both 32 and 64 bit versions.
I have Avast Free for Anti-Virus. Also, the PostgreSQL 64-bit is installed, for both the beta and Pro.
Did you reinstall the content or just the application? if just the application, did you reimport the metadata? To check if the CMS is running go to Edit>Preferences and look to see if there is a CMS Settings tab, probably half covered at the edge of the dialogue.
Thanks Richard!
I installed the application and some content. There is a CMS Settings tab in Preferences. Initially it wasn't set to where my content is installed. I changed it to where my content is installed. One thing to note is that the 4.9 Beta is port 1024 and the 4.8 CMS port is 17237, not sure why that is. Additionally, after scanning for content again, 4.9 has 804 items in the Default Smart Content and 4.8 has a lot more - I would have thought they would have been the same. The settings are the same for both 4.8 & 4.9.
Also, I am still unable to create my own catagories.
The path in CMS Settings is for the database, not the content itself. The Port for me is the same as the release build's so that would seem an oddity at least.
Glad you already resolved the issue. I'm posting this here just in case someone else has a similar issue: Win7 install and a clean Daz Studio 4.8 (64-bit) install. The CMS just wasn't there. I finally resolved the problem by installing Daz Studio 4.8 (32-bit). Once I did that, CMS was working in both versions of Studio (to run Iray, I only use the 64-bit version). Since I've got plenty of HD space, I just left both versions of Studio on my HD.
Hope this helps someone else in the future.
Hello,
I have been purchasing many of your products to use in my copy of Poser 2014. The zipped format has been causing me problems when I open them. I manually copy and paste the files into the proper Poser/Runtime folders and find that many times the product does not show up or that its missing files. The most recent product is “Lee for M4”. The morph works, but the skin texture can not be found. Is there another way to install the products? I have used the Daz3d Install Manager and have the same problem. I have even reinstalled Poser several times.
You could use the Daz Install Manager - click the gear icon at top-right, go to the Instalaltion tab, click the + button and select the folder(s) you have selected in Poser - e.g. Public Documents>Smith Micro>Poser Pro 2014 Content.
