OLD Darwin model mouth shapes stopped working

I have a cartoon I do using the old darwin cartoon monkey and recently the mouth shapes stopped working 

I've re-installed the model - it doesn't matter or help.  Anyone - help please.  thanks.  This has also affected the facial expressions etc.

    I have him (I think it's the same one) and his face works fine in Poser 11.  Does he work in saved scenes?

    Here's the Darwin I have.

    A thought; is there perhaps another darwin.obj or darwin.cr2 somewhere in your Poser Library?
