I've been buying from Fabi since her days at 3D Commune. It goes without saying that she is one of the best PA's in this little niche of ours, if not the best. heart smiley

@AllenArt you're one of my favorite customers since ever, probably more than 20 years back... And you know that ❤️ Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. It's my pleasure to deliver my best, with every product. ❤️❤️❤️

Hi @Fabiana. Do you have any tips for fitting the cuff to non-human ears? So far, I've had to do it manually by moving, scaling, and translating the parts where I need them. It's worth the effort to me to use the ear chains on my characters, but I didn't know if I was missing an easier way to do it. Thanks so much for answering our questions!

Hi @MissLeah! Well I think that the system is the same than for humans... BUT: I am not very sure if the alteration range of the morphs would cover unexpected ear shapes. I mean, probably they will need more than morph dialing if the ears are too different from elven or creature ear shapes (whose I tried to cover when testing) I'm very interested to know if you found a way to fit them to non humans. Please update me ❤️

These chain necklaces are amazing. It is so fun to watch them simulate. They look like somebody wadded them up and let go, and gravity straightened them out perfectly.

Hi, Fabiana, I enjoy your work!

What outfits did you use in the cover images for the following:

@Fabiana knows how to make products look rich and posh. I have a few of her products from Renderosity, and was thrilled when she came over to DAZ. The dforce chains are second-to-none. Her style is also remarkable. Classy, elegant, and timeless with a hint of fairy tale qualities, I can't praise her talent enough!

Yeah, I want stuff like hers in my REAL life!

@greywolf thank you so much for your post and interest in my products. The first one, I THINK is this one, it's tough because it's been awhile since I rendered that image but it comes top of my head: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-free-spirit-outfit-for-genesis-8-female-s The shaders are definitely my satin ones with some tweaking. For Cerceau: the bodysuit is Diva Bodysuit by lilflame. The sleeves really can't remember, probably something from hers too with some editing. Hope this helps!!! Fabi

@Write Idea thank you so much for all what you wrote here. It means the world to me, and I appreciate every single time someone says they enjoy my work. I love to see renders and read customer's input, it gives meaning to the dedication put on the products. It's my pride and joy, so thank you for letting me know your feelings. Blessings! Fabi

@SilverGirl it's fun, my daughters always are saying that. I said they should look for a jeweler or artisan to make real life pieces and start a new business for their future as long as Mom is here designing. You should shake them and team up LOL. Who knows? Maybe some day someone comes with a good offer... Thank you:D Fabi

Yes, lots of wishlist-ed items at both stores. smiley

However, I mainly use 3DL and Aiko 3.

A Fabiana Appreciation Thread in which I have not yet left an entry? That cannot and must not be. I have been a fan of this exceptional artist for many years. Fabiana not only creates beautiful designs, but also shows technical expertise, e.g. in her jewellery. One of her daughters should definitely become a goldsmith to make her mother's designs available in real life! I would already register as a customer... ;-)

I definitely plan to own all of Fabi's products eventually. Everything is just so beautiful. heart

I'll add a new pic that I did for Christmas. A little backstory...

These are two of my main characters from my sci-fi series. Ren (on the right, with the black hair) is human, from Earth. Tali is not human (obviously). They live on Tali's planet, which is populated with a winged, humanoid race. Ren wanted to share Christmas with Tali, but the holiday is not a thing on Taaranth, so they needed to improvise with what they had. Behold their little potted tree, decorated with Tali's jewelry. laugh I love so much that Fabi's products can be used like this. It's all so versatile.

@caravelle You Made my day, plain and simple. I was feeling sad, grieving for a family loss, but you gave me a smile and that's pure joy. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I will keep begging those girls to put their heads on the jewelry crafting, but when it's about young people there's nothing sure :) Blessings!

Thank you, Fabiana, I am very happy to have made your day at least a little more pleasant. I send you my condolences on the loss of a loved one.

Hopefully your daughters will reconsider their career choice; I mean that seriously. In old Europe, the goldsmith was considered the ‘king of (art) craftsmen’, and in certain areas of Germany, a goldsmith was always the chairman of the craft guilds. But most importantly, it is a truly beautiful, all-round satisfying profession. I still regret that I had to give it up for health reasons (allergy).

  • For info, there are gold & silver 3D print machines using laser sintering to create the metal components or use the printing to create a lost wax core to have the object cast from the metal of your choice.

This would work very well on some of the jewellery, though the sintered component usually needs polishing afterwards. Stones can be set into the designed and printed mounts.

Suggestions to look at to see what's possible: https://www.sculpteo.com/en/ or https://www.cooksongold.com/precious-metal-casting or https://i.materialise.com/en/3d-printing-materials/gold

They all have slightly different takes on how it's done, but.. Fabiana's jewellery is of manufacturable quality and the design is suitable for any commercial jeweller. The last 3d printing link above can actually produce hallmarked material, too. I know of a gent who had fountain pens printed from ABS by the company in the last link in 2014, and he was very impressed at the time.

    Regards,

    Richard
