Does the value of F/Stop in the camera pane make any sense compared to the real world?
So, in the "camera pane", you can adjust things like Focal Distance and F/Stop. The default for F/Stop is 22, but depending on other parameters this value can vary enormously. In one image, for example, I had to set an F/Stop of 14000 in order to achieve a focus area of around half a meter.
Does this value mean anything in the real world? Or can I ignore it and just set whatever makes the planes that indicate the focus large enough to encompass everything I need?
Thanks.

The value in the camera properties controls only depth of field, the value in the render Settings pane cotnrols exposure - unlike a physical camera they have been separated into two features.
