DIM reset?

Hi,

I opened up DIM this morning and it appears there has been a reset of some sort and all the items I have previously purchased no longer show up in the 'Installed' folder and I have thousands of items in my 'Ready to Download' folder.

I can, of course, download all these purchased items again but I'd prefer it if that was not necessary. Could DIM be looking in the wrong location for my downloaded items and trying to download all the items again to a different location thus duplicating all those items?

The only change that I've very recently made, is that I have changed the email address for my account but not my password. Could that be relevant?

It is the manifest files that tells DIM what is installed (and where).

Have you done anything on your hard drives?

You can check which path DIM is looking at, and if it actually exist, and has content.

I have one computer that goes nuts like this often. The DIM files are on an external hard drive and when that happens, I close the computer down, check the cords making sure they are seated correctly (not nudged out slightly) and then reboot the computer. Sometimes it takes three tries before it sees its files, but eventually it does.

I have gone so far as to check the drive in the File Manager to see if it still exists, it did, the file folders were complete, fully there. It has become a routine on that desktop now.

Check that the path to your manifest folder in DIM is correct and that it hasn't changed somehow and and also check if it's still where it's supposed to be
